Sorry, we’re closed this week

Due to losing my frozen stock, I’m closing the deli this week.

This is my busiest week, and I rely on it to pay my rent. But for my own health and well-being, I’m closing the deli. I also need time to build up stock. There’s no point in opening with a tiny menu only to have zero left again next week and the week after. The deli will be open again next week.

This is my fault. I was burnt out and needed a break. As Louise and I left for our weekend away, I was rushing around and turned off the freezer instead of the card reader. If I weren’t so tired, I’d not have made such a stupid mistake. The lesson here is to always listen to your body and mind, and rest when you have to, not after you’ve crossed the line.

Please, please, please feel free to order from next week onwards so I can get back on my feet and pay my bills. Thank you for your understanding. This is devastating for a small business, but it’s 100% my fault, and I’ve got to live with it.
